Spring in Greenville, South Carolina is one of the most beautiful times of the year to get married…and after photographing hundreds of weddings across the Upstate, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with some of the area’s most incredible venues.
As a preferred photographer at several Greenville locations, I get to collaborate directly with venue teams to create an experience that’s seamless and stress-free for couples. Whether you’re dreaming of a romantic conservatory ceremony, a historic mansion backdrop, or a chic downtown loft celebration, these five Greenville wedding venues are some of my top recommendations for spring weddings.
Katherine and Noah’s Judson Mill wedding in Greenville, South Carolina was full of meaning, tradition, and modern elegance. Their ceremony took place in The Annex at Judson Mill, surrounded by family, friends, and an atmosphere that beautifully blended cultures and generations. After their first dance, Katherine changed into a traditional Vietnamese ao dai, and we stepped outside during blue hour for a few quiet portraits. Later in the evening, she and Noah returned to the celebration wearing traditional Korean hanboks. It was a thoughtful and joyful day that honored their heritage and the journey they’ve shared.
And what a story it is.
“Last August, I spent the afternoon with Marisa & Jimmy wandering through Magnolia Plantation & Gardens, one of the most breathtaking spots in Charleston. We walked a few of the shaded trails, explored some of the bridges, and even visited the area where they’d later say “I do.” After that, we headed downtown to soak in the charm of cobblestone streets, Rainbow Row, and those classic Charleston backdrops that make this city feel timeless. Their wedding would come just a few months later, but this day was all about the quiet moments leading up to it. It was warm, romantic, and filled with everything I love about…”
“Anna and Ryan’s wedding at Founders Hall in Charleston was nothing short of legendary. From the moment the day began, there was an energy to it…the kind that tells you something special is about to happen.
Before the ceremony, they decided to do things a little differently. After their first look, portraits, and some family photos, they hosted a pre-ceremony cocktail hour where they mingled with guests, laughing and enjoying the moment. Then, instead of walking in separately, they entered the ceremony hand in hand, smiling side by side, and walked one another down the aisle. It was such a personal and joyful touch that felt…”
“Leah and Amanda’s wedding at Edinburgh West wasn’t just a celebration. It was a homecoming, a reunion, and the beginning of the next chapter in a love story shaped by faith, distance, and a connection that never faded. Before diving into their wedding day, I wanted to share a few favorites from each of their bridal sessions — photographed in September and October — to reflect their individual energy leading up to the day.
Their ceremony took place in the woods behind the venue, with rugs lining the aisle, warm fall florals all around, and so many emotional moments. Leah’s dad walked Amanda down the aisle first, and at the altar, they shared the kind of hug that says more than words ever could. Then he walked back to escort Leah, while Amanda stood waiting, already in tears. Both of them cried through the ceremony, and more than once, Amanda reached over to wipe Leah’s tears. It was one of those moments you just don’t forget. Honestly, there weren’t many dry eyes…even…”
