A few random facts about me:
- My name is pronounced [ ter-uhl ].
- I LOVE breakfast tacos. A love that began while living in San Antonio.
- Also, because of SA, and mainly from my wife semi-brainwashing me in 2005, I also love the Spurs…and enjoy basketball in general.
- I love peanut butter, and especially enjoy Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.
- The sweet potato cake at Brick Street Cafe is life. There’s a good chance I’ll bring this up at some point.
- I used to be a welder.
- I photograph 20-25 weddings annually.

More About Me
I haven’t always been a photographer, although since childhood I had always enjoyed playing around with film, in a love affair that started by experimenting with my parents’ Polaroid. My father bought me my first ‘real’ camera for Christmas when I was a senior in high school, and I immediately fell in love with the idea of pausing time and being able to hold a memory forever. I always enjoyed taking photos of my loved ones and capturing the emotion of daily life. Years passed in which I enjoyed a successful career as a welder, but my passion for telling stories through images had well and truly begun. With the encouragement and support of my brother-in-law, who is also a talented photographer, I discovered wedding photography. I found that it was full of the raw emotion, authenticity, and human connection that I was most inspired to capture, and I was soon on my way to making a full-time career change in 2016. Since then, I have documented countless weddings, innumerable family moments, and more special occasions than I can count. I’ve never once regretted taking the leap that turned my hobby into my profession.
