Their ceremony took place in The Annex at Judson Mill, surrounded by family, friends, and an atmosphere that beautifully blended cultures and generations. After their first dance, Katherine changed into a traditional Vietnamese ao dai, and we stepped outside during blue hour for a few quiet portraits. Later in the evening, she and Noah returned to the celebration wearing traditional Korean hanboks. It was a thoughtful and joyful day that honored their heritage and the journey they’ve shared.

”Like many great love stories of our time, ours began during one of the most uncertain periods in recent history — Covid.

It was 2020, and in the middle of lockdowns and social distancing, we found each other through Tinder. Our first date was simple. We met at a restaurant downtown. From the moment we sat down, ordered, ate, and paid the check, only 45 minutes had passed. But something about those 45 minutes felt different — easy, comfortable, and full of possibility.

At the time, Noah was living in Clemson, and I wasn’t very familiar with the area either. Still, I didn’t want the night to end just yet. So we decided to go for a walk, wandering through the streets and talking, letting the evening unfold naturally. That spontaneous walk turned into the first step of our journey together.

From that night on, we continued to grow, to learn, and to build something real. What started as two college students meeting online during a pandemic slowly became a beautiful partnership. One rooted in curiosity, connection, and love.
