“Duncan and I actually met back in college at Clemson. It was during our undergrad studies, and we hit it off right away. Our first date is actually a pretty funny story. We decided to meet up at a Walmart parking lot and then headed to a park. Looking back, we both knew right from the start that it was love. It's one of our favorite memories.

As we got to know each other better, we realized something amazing. We had so many mutual friends, and we could have crossed paths many times before actually meeting. But we believe that things happen for a reason, and we were meant to meet when we did. After just a few months of dating, our friends and families were amazed. They couldn't believe that we hadn't been together for years already. It was clear to everyone that we were meant to be.

When we graduated from Clemson, we made the decision to move to Huntsville, AL for Duncan's job. We started our careers and began building our lives together. One thing we always enjoyed during our relationship was visiting different botanical gardens. So, it was only fitting that Duncan chose the Huntsville Botanical Garden as the place to propose. It was a beautiful moment.

Eventually, we decided to move back home to upstate SC. We planned out our ‘best day ever', which took place at the most beautiful wedding venue ever…Edinburgh West. On that day, we thought we couldn't possibly be more in love, but every day our love continues to deepen. Now, we're living our happily ever after with our fur babies; Pepper and Winnie. We're excited to keep building our future together as husband and wife.

So, that's our story. We met in college, had a funny first date, and fell in love. Now, we're enjoying life together with our adorable pets and looking forward to what lies ahead for us as a couple.”
