“Alex and I met in 2011 on a blind date in Downtown Greenville. I was so nervous, but thankfully we hit it off! He lived in Spartanburg , and I lived in Greer, but since I went to school and worked in Spartanburg, we never missed any chance to see each other. On my birthday in February 2018, Alex took me to an empty balcony on top of the Spartanburg AC Hotel to see the pretty night view of downtown. As I looked at a building he was pointing to, Alex quietly got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!

In February 2019, we opened another chapter in our lives and bought our first home together in Taylors! I always dreamed of a fairytale wedding, and Edinburgh West was beyond perfect! Alex and I dressed in our best, surrounded by family and friends, gorgeous flowers, and a beautiful cake that was made into reality just from a drawing. May 18th will always be a day that we will never forget!”
